Merry Christmas!

Okay...it is a day past Christmas day...but it is Christmas still. Chris and I have a wonderful time with our families this week and we are excited about the liberty bowl and seeing our friends. I get a much needed few days of rest! I am excited...I am constantly tired, yet getting to sleep in the last week has begun to cause me problems. I can't seem to get comfortable or stay comfortable. Last night was great, since I actually got to sleep in my own bed!!!! I think that it is finally clear I am pregnant now. I will post a pic some time and you will see I am really BIG! Anyways...Sunday 3 people came to me to congratulate me! I haven't really been keeping this a secret, but I haven't really been wearing shirts that say I am pregnant, but at the same time I have been wearing maternity clothes since like week 10! Being pregnant this year was fine, but I didn't really ask for things I would usually ask for...like clothes...etc. This was a "gadget" Christmas...I got a back message thingy and an Ipod. I would never normally expect to get anything like that, but I cut down on the clothes so I guess that pays off. My husband got me some very comfy slip on shoes with a fuzzy inside....they are by far the best thing in the whole world.

I have talked to a few people about my last blog and I have discussed my issues about the 30lbs I have already gained and I have been reassured. I am still very conscious about it...but I have the assurance of a good friend that we will team up after Alex and go to the gym. That makes me feel sooooo good. She looks great after her child, so I can trust that she will keep me on track! I guess I am most afraid to get scolded by my nurse and doctor. I don't know if they will or not, but I know that they wanted me to only gain30-35 lbs in all! and I still have like 16 freakin' weeks to go!

Alex has turned into a Kung-fu fighter this week! He has really been punching and kicking and flipping, esp. at night when I am trying to get to sleep. But as strange it can be, it is comforting to me that he is so active. Chris has had the chance to feel him kick a few times and I love seeing the look of delight every time (though the first few times he pulled his hand away and looked at me in the most curious ways).

Pray that we continue to have patience in selling our home!

Happy New Year if I don't talk to you before!

Wow this kid is going to run out of room!

Hey guys! Well I finally have started a blog. I guess I am irresponsible, because I am already in my 23 week of Pregnancy and I just started this thing. But I have had a lot on my plate. I am very excited about April 18th and the arrival of our little man Alex. I will post the latest ultra sounds...in my humble opinion, he is the cutest little kid ever. I think that this adventure is the greatest test of patience and faith I have ever had to endure. I want immediate gradification. So having to wait 9 months (actually 10) to see this person I already love, is tough. And having the faith that he will be healthy, takes faith. If I could I would have a heart moniter hooked up all day long, just so I can hear his little heart beat. And I think ultrasounds should be a manditory weekly event, just so I can say hi and check on things. It is funny to me that until our children are over 18, we want them to check in every few hours, but when our babies are helpless beings in our womb we only check in like a couple times visually and only a have dozen times we listen in. Oh well ...I hope that doesn't mean I am goign to be over baring...Just already in love. I have gotten so big I can't imagine getting any bigger. but I can't imagine how a baby can fit into my petite body. I am afraid I will possible surpass my husband in weight. Everyone says that I should not worry about it, since I am pregnant, but part of me is really self conscious about this. Beleive me...I am not holding back, but I have tried to keep my choices on the healthy side. I haven't been as active as I should be. I have a hard time walking...I am definately a modern definience of physics. Thank goodness for the evolutionary sway in my back (they just came out with a report).
